Raids in Anime Adventures — Rewards and Strategy

Raids are where Anime Adventures gets real. They're tougher than normal stages, require actual coordination, and drop rewards you simply can't get anywhere else. If you've been coasting through story mode, raids will wake you up quick.

Raid Types Breakdown

Best Units for Each Raid

There's no one-size-fits-all raid team. Normal raids need balanced DPS and control — bring your best all-rounders. Hard raids demand specialized units: single-target nukers for the boss wave and AoE units for the trash waves. Nightmare raids require a tank or healer in the lineup, plus at least two control units. Don't queue for a Nightmare raid without checking your team comp first.

Farming Strategy

If you're farming for a specific drop, Normal raids are the most efficient — they're faster to clear and the item-per-minute rate is usually better even with lower drop chances. Don't grind Nightmare unless you specifically need something that only drops there. Also, raid with friends or a discord group if you can. Random queues are a gamble — you might get a team that knows what they're doing, or you might get three people who brought their story mode lineup.

Exclusive Rewards

Raids drop exclusive units, evolution materials, and cosmetics that you won't find in banners or stages. Some of the best units in the game are raid-locked. If you see a raid-exclusive unit on someone's team and wonder where they got it — that's where. The drop rates aren't generous though. Budget for multiple runs if you're after something specific.
